McConnaughhay Coonrod Associate Natalie Yong was successful in obtaining a Summary Final Order.

McConnaughhay Coonrod Associate Natalie Yong was successful in obtaining a Summary Final Order. Here’s a brief overview of the case:

Prior to the filing of a Petition for Benefits, the Employer/Carrier authorized and agreed to pay for the provision of the medical device.  The Claimant’s attorney sent a good faith request for authorization and provision of the medical device after the vendor already mailed it to the Claimant.  Despite providing the Claimant’s attorney with proof in the form of emails, order confirmations, and tracking information in response to the good faith request, opposing counsel filed the Petition for Benefits. The Employer/Carrier responded to the Petition for Benefits and filed a Motion for Summary Final Order seeking dismissal of the Petition, including the claims for attorney’s fees and costs, on the basis that the all issues were resolved. The Judge found in favor of the Employer/Carrier and dismissed the Petition in its entirety.

Great job Natalie!
